Creativity has been at the forefront of Bree’s personality from a very early age. From the age of 3 until her junior year in college she was involved in dance (Ballet and Modern) and has performed in Greenville Ballet’s Nutcracker, attended SC Governor’s School of the Arts in dance, attended Greenville Fine Arts Center, and performed in Winthrop University’s annual choreographer’s showcase.
Since then, Bree began focusing on expressing herself with crafts. She has mostly focused this talent on wreaths. Making wreaths using grapevines, faux flowers and most recently ribbons. Last year, Bree’s good friend, Denise Kennedy came to her and said “let’s craft together and make a profit!” and Tied in Knots was born. As an Etsy shop and appearing at a few local festivals, Tied in Knots has focused on wine bottles, mason jars, ornaments, and other DIY holiday focused items.
As the other half of the dynamic duo that makes up Tied in Knots, Denise Kennedy has collaborated with Bree DeLoache on many projects over many years. The latest of which is this crafting endeavor that has proven to be as much fun as it is educational. Contrary to popular belief, wine bottle crafts are not all about drinking the wine! Trial and error has taught us some true fundamentals to awesome crafts and pitfalls to avoid when trying to re-create that ultimate pin!
